What is a Target Blue Eye 2
Target Blue Eye 2 is the ultimate system that warns you completely legally of all approaching emergency services. Regardless of whether or not they are on the road with a Blue flashing light and siren. Target Blue Eye 2 Technology is committed to guiding you alertly and quickly through traffic with a system that increases road safety. TRACK Technologies does this for you, your fellow road users and the emergency services.
How Does it Work?
Emergency services (ambulance, fire brigade, and police) use a digital communication system in almost all of Europe. It is based on the global Terrestrial Trunked Radio standard, TETRA for short. Just as the GSM signal is the standard for your mobile phone, TETRA is the standard for mobile communications for the Public Order and Security Services.
When a police officer, paramedic, or firefighter registers the C2000 equipment in his (inconspicuous) car in the network, the communication equipment sends an ultra-short synchronization signal every few seconds. Blue Eye precisely picks up this signal from the ether and converts it into an acoustic and visual warning on an information display in your car. The distance at which the Blue Eye 2 signals an emergency service varies from several hundred meters to approximately one kilometer. So, plenty of time to anticipate the situation and quickly move aside and/or reduce your speed.
Is Target Blue Eye Legal?
We cannot emphasize it enough: of course, Blue Eye is legal. After all, it is a system that demonstrably increases the road safety of you, your fellow road users, and the emergency services.
Blue Eye contributes to your safety and that of others in those countries where the TETRA network is used. In addition, Blue Eye fits in perfectly with government campaigns to make motorists aware of what to do in the event of approaching emergency vehicles. Last but not least: unlike radar detectors that only warn of radar checks and serve no other purpose, Blue Eye not only warns of (unobtrusive) police but also of fire brigades and ambulances. Blue Eye therefore makes no distinction between these emergency services.
